Re: DECEMBER 2018 PROMPT Challenge

It's been a long time since I've posted, so I'm not sure that the photos/links will work. I thought there was a tip sheet somewhere, but I don't remember how to find it. The beauty of digital is that I can use a base for multiple layouts. My boys have separate scrapbooks with monthly pages. No one w...

Re: June 2018 Book Lover's Challenge

I haven't been involved here for a while, but I decided to get back into it. All of my boys' monthly pages sound the same, so I asked my youngest to do the journaling on this one. He refused to hand write it, and I do digital anyway. His words are within the circle. I hope to convince him to write o...

Re: January 2018 Holiday Challenge

I don't have specific resolutions this year, since they mostly fail anyway. My scrapbooking priority, though, is to finish a Mixbook album from our trip to Alaska two years ago. This is one of the pages. I did most of it on my computer, then uploaded it and finished the text. http://sbing.com/i/gall...

Re: January Goals

If I complete 1 page/day this year, I will be very close to caught up. What a great goal! That means 31 for this month, which is ridiculous. I'm going to try anyway.

Re: December 2017 Disney Challenge

I chose February 2015 (I think), which was to scraplift a Disney page from pinterest. I went pretty literal on this one.

Re: DECEMBER What's on TV? CHALLENGE

This shows many members of my family--husband, boys, in-laws, nephew and niece. Thanks for the challenge.

Re: NOVEMBER Use Your Stash Challenge

I used six stickers on this page--photo corners, the tree and the circles.

Re: November/December Graphic Design Challenge

I chose the Journal in an Item option. I used a doodle, changed the color and added a "back".

Re: November 2017 Holiday Challenge

I've had two grandparents die in the last couple years, so am very thankful that, at 46, I still have a grandma left. I'm also thankful my boys get to see their grandmas and grandpas on a regular basis.

Re: November Washi challenge (deadline extended)

This is digital washi, and labeled specifically as that. The circles are all "cut" out of washi, plus above and below the photo is washi. Thanks for the challenge. I don't use tapes much on my pages.

Re: Nov/Dec Pet Challenge - New Due Date

This isn't technically about the pet, but I am submitting it anyway. I included a selfie with Lady (bottom left photo), which is how she likes her photos to be.

Re: November Music Challenge

I love a lot of songs from musicals, but One Day More from Les Miserables is one of my favorites. This page has absolutely nothing to do with the musical, but it was an extra day at Silver Dollar City near Branson.

Re: Scraplift the November GD

This page in her gallery caught my eye:

I turned it on its side to use a vertical photo, and went a little simpler.

Re: Recipe Challenge UPDATED!!!

I let my husband pick numbers so this was a little more random. I ended up with green (the background), purple (the flower, font and brad), and pink (the stitching and smaller chunks of papers). The photo matte on each page is a square. The pictures were taken outdoors. I then used chipboard (all bo...

Re: November 3 in a Row

I went with the bottom row - diamonds, squares, rectangles. The diamonds are at left, the squares are the photos and the rectangles are the journaling areas. There are also circles in the paper, but I didn't add them exactly.

Re: November 2017 Foodie Challenge

This is my third attempt at doing this challenge. On the first one, I forgot the enamels and didn't love the page enough to redo it. On the second, I liked what I had too much to add in borders. Finally, I figured it out. I have two matted photos (the circles on squares), border strips (3, black, at...

Re: November 2017 STAMPING challenge

I haven't made a fully traditional page in years. I want to try to do all of this month's challenges, though, so I pulled out some ink and some shadow stamps I like and set about making a page. This is my grand-niece a few months after her birth in 2015.

Re: Nov Patterned Paper Challenge

I added five patterned papers to this page, which are all just blocks in the grid. Thanks for the challenge. I am gradually catching up on old pages.

This particular layout of hers caught my eye. It was simple, but focused.

I went even simpler, with just a few accents.
