Re: Glimmer Paints?
I can tell you that it's a big world, with many different paths. What look do you think you want to achieve -- misted paper? splatters? coloring agent with stencils? Do you like a hint of sparkle or do you want flat? How dense do you want the coverage to be? Beyond that, mists are pretty good multit...

Re: Sometimes it's hard
I've spent too much of my life interacting with doctors and nurses. Still, I'll take a nurse's expertise and care over a doctor's any day. Thank you, to all of the nurses reading this, for keeping me, and others like me alive. You are loved and appreciated every day.

Re: ATG refill/pink phasing out?
Well, I finally replaced an older roll with one of the two in the last pink box I have. I now "get" the reference to the kraft vs white strip. This one is on kraft and gave me a little trouble at first. Either way, when I can rationalize the purchase -- and being adhesive that shouldn't be...

Re: Modeling Paste, Adding Color
I haven't tried yet, but I think you can use ink. Stampin' Up sells paste , and they suggest using their re-inkers to add color. Good luck! Oops! After seeing Shannon's examples, I realized that I was talking about modeling clay! Sorry for giving my two cents when I didn't know what I was talking ...

Modeling Paste, Adding Color
I'm searching everywhere for information on adding color to modeling paste -- like the Theresa Collins brand sold here. So far, I believe I can use paints, mists and mica powders but what about embossing powder?
If you have experience with adding color to modeling paste, I am open to learning.

Re: ATG refill/pink phasing out?
The first few times that I had to refill mine, I watched a YouTube video of a crafter I admire. It does feel a little unnatural at first, but easy enough to get the hang of.

Re: ATG refill/pink phasing out?
Ladies this is one of those cases where size DOES Matter. As long as you get the acid free and lignin free, just get the width you need. There are three sizes, quarter, half and three quarter width. That is the difference. That will also be good to remember. My attention to detail isn't always pres...

Thank you for reminding me that I want almost every color of these inks. They are my absolute favorite ink pads because of their size.

Re: Your Basket or Wish List
The most expensive thing on my wish list is the Martha Stewart Starry Sky punch. I would do the fun link thing, but I apparently have much to learn about how these forums work.

Re: stalking
My current store stalking is to see if my pre order goodies have arrived. I don't have specific projects on hold because of the goodies, but I still look forward to spending time getting to know them soon.

Re: ATG refill/pink phasing out?
Wow! That's some fun information to have.
I'm actually considering altering my pink atg to teal, or whichever shade of blue appeals to me at the time. I've never really appreciated pink, but it was the only atg that DH could find.

Re: *UPDATE* Tape/Adhesive Runner Suggestions, Please
When I started, I used the red runner, that 2 pack that's already posted several times. 7 years later, the pages everything is still attached where I wanted it. Still, I switched because the cellophane roll would randomly come loose inside and I would end up wasting money and adhesive. I switched to...

Hahahahahaha! Cracking up laughing here! Too old for cats-that just cracks me up! Got to say that bending down of any kind-especially to get under a bed-would kill my lower back. If my cat goes under a bed then there it shall stay forevermore.... or at least until it decides it wants to come out. ...

Re: What would you scrap first?
I sit down with my photos, go through them all until one practicality screams to be scrapped -- to have *that* story told, or to play with *that* perfect patterned paper, ink, stamp, die cut, whatever. If nothing screams, I understand that today is not my day to scrap and try again tomorrow.

Re: ATG refill/pink phasing out?
I did a search. I saw some pink on ebay, still don't know if it's phasing out or not. As far as I could tell the only difference between the pink and the gold is that the gold has more holding power, but I'm not sure I was comparing the correct "pink" Ooh! You had me at "more holding...
