Re: Scrap a Day, March 23rd

Hi, cherries. I'm having a puttering day. We had spring break this past week, but I haven't played with paper. Finally sitting down today to plan some future projects with some clearance paper pads I have. In between doing massive amounts of laundry and some food prep for the upcoming week. Hope eve...

I did this layout for the Craft Life Challenge. It's been so fun playing with paper!

What a fun layout. I'm so out of the loop on collections--what collection is that? Those stickers are cute.

Cold, nasty, wet, and windy here.  But, I got to have lunch with my parents to celebrate their 58th anniversary and came home to finish this layout for the March Music challenge. :)

I like how you did the background/matting!

Re: Scrap a Day, March 23rd

Hey Cherries! Yesterday was horrible. We had a predator attack and our sweet happy duck Shirley was killed. :( :( :(. That started a series of things that totally messed up all plans we had. We had been planning to move all the birds to a better coop at the top of the driveway. It needed some modif...

Re: Scrap a Day, January 10th

Hello, cherries! Winter slowdown has really hit me. I did manage to finish my new year's cards, but still haven't taken pics of them yet, much less prepped them to send. Argh. Don't know why it's so hard sometimes. I really want to take pics today, and get as many cards out by tomorrow as possible. ...

Re: Scrap a Day, January 6th

Congrats on getting the room together, Barb, it always feels nice when I can clean up my space. @MTCanuck, photos are the hardest part for me, too. The selecting, the editing, the ordering, ugh. @VickiR, that is my favorite way to enjoy the snow--inside, curled up! Enjoy! @FoxyStamping, we didn't ge...

I truly believe buying scrapbook supplies and using scrapbook supplies are  2 separate hobbies.

YES. I think I enjoy accumulating specific stashes and organizing them as much as I do using the supplies, honestly. LOL

Re: Scrap a Day, January 5th

Hi, cherries. Moving slow here. Winter torpor has definitely set in. Supposed to go back to work tomorrow, guess we'll see, because of all the sleet and freezing rain and later, snow, we are getting. A big order from the store should be heading my way hopefully next week, too--it will be my first co...

Re: January 100 papers challenge!

My spot! I will count cardstock and patterned paper, cutting into new, whole sheets (not counting white cardstock I make card bases from). I know I cut a bunch up yesterday for some cards, so will need to go back and count!

Re: Scrap a Day, New Year’s Day

Happy New Year! I had a nice first day of the year. Got to be productive with a workout, cleaning, and laundry, and then watched Hot Frosty with my best friend (we're long distance, so both watched while on the phone together). Also got to start some wintry/new year cards last night. Hope everyone h...

Re: Scrap a Day, December 28th

So sorry you're hurting, Ginni! We're at my MIL's, and I have taken it easy. Our cooking turned out to be delivered pizza, so yay! And I made a point of reminding everyone on the car ride how much more work we create and what my MIL said to my Mom (about being so sick of cleaning and cooking) when s...

Re: Scrap a Day, December 27th

Good morning, Cherries. Long time no see, been swept up in life. At any rate, it's Christmas break here and I am in max laziness/relaxation mode. We are heading to my MIL's for the weekend, and I plan on chilling there, too, although I am sure I will cook one night and I'll do the dishes all weekend...

Re: Scrap a Day, December 3rd

Hi hi cherries. So cold. Tomorrow I have to take off work for house repair people. I have stuff to get done life-wise, but am hoping I will also have time to scrap a little. I made a short video share of the mini. Decided I do not want to sell it, definitely filling it! :) How do we watch your shor...

You're so sweet <3

I put it up on youtube but it is very simple, just like me! LOL I will make a short eventually showing how I made the foundation, I thought for sure I had that part, but couldn't find it to save my life!

Re: Scrap a Day, December 26th

Hi, Cherries! We have had a busy Christmas season, but man Christmas day was nice. Time stopped and we stayed in our PJs all day. The boys built a loft/desk/dresseer combo for my son and the girls watched Christmas movies. Oh and I made dinner. Got to work on digging my scrap desk out from where it ...

Re: Scrap a Day, December 4th

I am home from work today, since there are some big repairs being done to the house. It is a good thing because I didn't get much sleep last night and have a lot of paperwork and reimbursements and forms etc. to take care of. If I can, I'm napping in the recliner in the family room. If I can't, I gu...
