I love this game - so much fun! Imagine it's your job to come up with the nail polish names!?   They all sound good to me so I asked DH and he says The Afterlife, so I'm going with that. I can't imagine what color that would be.

DREAM JOB!  For real.

Re: Taking a short break!

We had a wind storm last night prior to the thunderstorm and tornado watch.
The wind knocked out our electricity for the evening and was restored just in time for the thunder, lightening and rain to start.
Enjoy your lunch!  We just had a pot luck.  The dip Laura suggested is going over very well!

Re: Do you like scary movies?

LOVE them.  Psychological thrillers are my favorite.   My 9 year old, also a fan.  She has always been interested.  This year we had a long conversation about consequences and boundaries and what she wanted out of scary movies.  So, she watched The Birds, Quiet Place, Poltergeist, and the original H...

Re: Homemade Tzatziki Dip

There is a potluck at work tomorrow.  Since these results are as good as verified, I am going to be brave and make it to bring in.  We always have the same things, and this would be a welcome change, I believe.

Re: new stuff!

I bought what I needed of the Simple Stories BoHo Christmas to get my December Daily together.  It should deliver today. My previous one isn't complete yet, and it's from 2020!  But, I need some joy and positivity and fresh in my world so I started there.  I am going to use my craft space to pull my...

Re: i just have to brag!

When we "sewists" were all making masks at the start of Covid, I let my husband pick fabric for his. All similar to your husband's choice for this bag.  He was amazed that these options were available.  He made sure I saved scraps to patch his yard work jeans with.  Not even sure there is ...

Re: MMC - July 1 - Challenge #1

I still have Viewmaster cards.
And my 8 year old DD and 5 year old grandbaby still play with them.
It is one of their favorite toys.

Re: Procraftinating

I have played around more that I have gotten anything done. I have things in a staging pile. DD is scrapping with me so I have helped her and taught her things. While this was not exactly my plan, she and I have had a great time together. Today may be different. DH intends to have her help him with ...

I am up and the kids are NOT! DH had coffe and avocado toast ready and I am getting started for the day. DD walks in a parade with Girl Scouts at noon, but that is the only time I plan to be away from my desk today.

And I really hope DH did not mix up MY lunch with DD's.

LOL!  That has the potential to be really funny!

My 3rd grader took meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and squash. They don't have microwaves... She was not amused.

Re: Monroe1218's Would You Rather Game #2

I love the little book I made after I started 12x12.
I would choose to NEVER 12x12 again.
