I've been doing a lot less shopping and more scrapbooking and using my stash. 

I use 12x12 for most of my layouts. I like 6x6 for Dec Daily and I have made some mini albums. I have a snap album that's 6x8, so I will see how I like that size when I get around to using it (for a Dec Daily).  

I took the recent sketch class by Donna Jannuzzi. I had a death in the family and so I never finished the class. But I still have all the reference material (sketches) that I can use at any time. More than several of the BPC seem interesting but they are way out of my budget. 

When I first became interested in scrapbooking, it was because I wanted to make a recipe scrapbook. Of course, 5-1/2 years later, that has yet to happen. lol! I have quite the collection of cookbooks (had to stop buying those since I don't have anywhere to put them now - plus I get a lot of my recip...
