Re: Products meant to fail?! So true!
We just had the heater replaced on our 11 year old refrigerator. At the time, I wondered when the repairman said that this heater should work for 6 or 7 months....HUH??? What happened to quality??? Guess we better start saving up for that new refrigerator, huh?

Re: I'm old!
You are only as old as you allow yourself to feel..... ;) Although.......I do know how you feel. My son will turn 16 this September and it seems like only yesterday that I was lieing in labor and delivery trying desperately to get him into this world. Can I be honest and say that there are times whe...

Re: Looking for a Website or Blog.....
I started noticing them on the commercials too, right after I discovered the website. I remember thinking at the time, "Boy, that's just like......." but I'm a blank as to what they were like..... DUH???

Re: Complete as you wish....2/27
Giving some jeans that I had outgrown to some kids at school was my last random act of kindness.

Looking for a Website or Blog.....
I remember either seeing, reading about, or hearing about a particular website or blog and I'm trying to locate it. I'm not sure of the name, but the owner of the website/blog had set about trying to find "smiles" that exists all around us in everyday objects. They had posted photographs o...

Re: Marriage = One Opinion?
No.... After all, each member of the couple is still an individual in his or her own right. He or she is entitled to their own views on things: from favorite restaurant to political views.

Re: So.. do you drink pop, or soda, or ... what?
At most restaurants I take the "easy" route and just say "Diet, please..." That is usually generic enough that I get a Diet Pepsi, Coke, or whatever it is that the restaurant sells.... LOL!

Re: No school again today!
I feel your pain.... Here in eastern KY we have had only 8 days of school since Christmas break. It has been awful. The worst is that end of the year testing is set for the last 2 weeks in April and every day we miss because of snow means one less day of instruction prior to that testing. We have al...

Re: Tools of the trade (Paper Trimmers)
Up until last week, I HAD a Making Memories trimmer. The grid lines were wearing off, but I kept right on using it. Then last week the plastic paper guide that goes down the side of the trimmer broke. I had already contacted MM about the trimmer and it was too old to get a replacement. I had purchas...

Re: This must end!
Here in eastern KY it has been pretty bad too. We only had 8 days of school in January and 3 days so far in February. The rest have been snow days! Snow, ice, you name it....seems like we've just gotten hit hard!

Re: Know your interior design style
I must be kind of wishy-washy or something. My top style was Mountain Lodge Style You love nature! And really, how could you not? The more exposed wood (be it in log form or paneling) the better. And having natural stone in your home is a must! Especially at the fireplace, but stone top tables work ...

Re: Cool new Tool
I can't wait to see this one in use somewhere. I would love to see if it works with the rhinestones that I already own. My glue dots are always too big, even the small ones....and liquid glue oozes and gets messy. For some reason, I've just never been able to NEATLY apply rhinestones.
