Re: Newbie in Texas

Ladies, thank you for the warm welcomes.

I have missed a few days on here cause I was sickly and it was nice to come back and see some friendly posts.  I just hate this time of year when allergies and colds are all over the place.

Re: Question of the day 2/16

I check in the morning while DD is getting dressed for school.  If I don't have much to do that day then I check it and am online more.  Then I check it before I go to bed.

Hello from Texas

I am from Fort Worth Texas and have found that most of my scrapping buddies have all returned to the work force now that our kids are in school full time.  I tried another local group but we just did not mesh, too much gossiping and backstabbing going on for me.  So I find myself with tons of time o...

Re: Mommy Swap!

I can't get myself to sit through a whole episode and I don't think I could ever do that.  You know the swapped wives are going through all your stuff!

Re: Valentine's Day Scare!

I would have screamed and starting flailing fists if that had happened to me.

That cheesecake does look yummy though.

Re: I HATE living in an apartment!!!

I remember those days too, but I have to admit living in a house on a residential street can be bad too.  I actually got in the street and jumped up and down and did a "happy dance" when my next door neighbors left, they were loud and had no consideration for anyone else in the neighborho...

That is so cool.  I will have to do this with my 8 year old.

How did you color them?

Re: Come on, admit it.........

That is pretty cool.  The local pizza shop was making heart shaped pizzas but it wasn't on my diet so I resisted.

Re: What did you do for V-day?

DH came home just for Valentine's Day from a job he was doing out of state.  We spent the day as a family and exchanged small (very small) gifts and cards.  Then DH and DD cooked me dinner (I am still in shock over that) and we watched Madagascar 2.   Was a very fun time for us as a family.

I am very new to this board and could really use some friends so this is a great challenge.
