Where are you in So Cal?  We travel quite a bit down that way via RV. To bad it is to big for me to drive.  My DH is from Santa Barbara and I am from up north Santa Rosa.

Re: Homemade burgers?

Here is my suggestion.  I think you are smart not buying premade burger, it is usually really high in fat.  I buy lean ground beef especially if you're camping and cannot keep it really cold, maybe around 10 percent fat content and I usually get about 3 nice big burgers per pound.  Just separate th...

Re: New from Wa State

Hi Ginger! I don't have any real life scrap buddies, either- too bad we're not closer! :) Welcome to the board- you'll get TONS of great ideas here! To bad is isn''t like 'the good old days' where people did have time set aside for each other.  I guess we are all just to busy with daily life.  Tha...

Hi all, My name is Ginger and I am from Silverdale, Wa.  I am in my 50's and retired 3 years ago.  I decided then that I would love to start scrapping so went out and bought everything known to man.  That was 3 years ago and I have yet to begin.  I did go to a couple of CK Conventions and have take...

Hi Ginger! Welcome! Stick around, we have plenty of fun scrappers that spend time here nearly every day! I'm sure you'll find something in common with us!  I'm refusing to believe I'm old enough to be called an oldie yet...but I'm married to one if that gives you any hint to my age :winkb:! I sure...

Hi I'm Ginger

Brand new to digi scrappin.  Just started some purchased tutorials that are wonderful for true beginners, but I am really in the very first stages.  Will be anxious to get to know others that are new to this hobby. Thought I had better add a bit about myself.  I am 50 something, married to the most...
