unable to monitor win32 servers from cacti-linux

Dear all ,

I have installed cacti server on linux.
I want to monitor windows memory, cpu, and disk usage.

I have tried some xml scripts with perl scripts from available in addons.
Unable to compile WIN32::OLE module on linux for that.

pls help me to monitor windows servers from linix cacti server

I have split this post off of the DEBIAN install post, because, well it's not related. In the future, please post new topics for new topics....

Concerning your question, I don't think WIN::OLE32 will compile on anything other than windows, because it's windows function. :)

Correct, I believe you are running a perl script that requires the WIN module, that, to my knowledge does not exist in the unix space. There are ways that you can setup a Window IIS service to return WMI information using wget.
