How are you changing to cactid?
Also, confirm that your path to cactid in paths is correct.

Turn you logging up to Debug level and check out your logs. If you don't see anything that is an issue, post you log here, we will check it out.

I've the same problems since the update to cactid-0.8.6f. TheWitness knows about the problem, but we haven't found a solution yet.

TheWitness is looking for a system he could poll from the internet to reproduce the problem. I've no chance to put one of the affected hosts outside our firewall.kanada wrote:Yes i see, problem is still active.. too bad, couse i need this monitoring load average..
Would it be possible for TheWitness to reach one of your systems?

I am seeing the same issue
The monitor server is a debian box with a fresh install of cacti 0.8.6g + cactid 0.8.6f-1.
The remote host is a newly installed debian sarge machine with snmpd.
Here is the portion of the log generated when I run cactid at the console:
CACTID: Host[6] DS[15] WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result: ...

If any of the developers would like to poll this machine via SNMP to reproduce this bug, please PM me and I can arrange for this.

This problem should be fixed in cactid086g-beta. Myabe you can try the beta version and give TheWitness some feedback.sickdm wrote:I am seeing the same issue
