Hello fellow Mac user,
Try these instructions for Cacti on OS X: http://homepage.mac.com/duling/halfdoze ... ihowto.txt
I don't guarantee it to be error free but it should work. If no one else does it first, I'll probably do a DarwinPorts port of Cacti in a month or two just because it is a popular app and it hasn't been done yet. But don't assume Cacti is your only option for an RRDtool front-end. I get the impression that some people think the only two choices are MRTG or Cacti. I actually do all my production SNMP graphing on NRG. GUI's don't always help. I think it is quicker, easier, and more efficient. There is a HOWTO for OS X here along with some other useful network administration apps.
