MySQL b0rked or config on upgrade busted

I upgraded to 0.6.8a but when I did the graphs would show up but nothing would be plotted in them. Not quite sure what the root problem is, when I go to the Cron Print out it shows that it can successfully capture the data form the source so I believe it might be a MySQL problem. Can anyone give me step by step troublshooter as I am a noobies-noob to MySQL. Much appreciated!
