hi,
our setup is comprised of:
- mysql 4.0.23a
- cacti 0.8.6c
- php 4.3.9
- freebsd 4.10-STABLE
and till yesterday was working perfectly.
now whenever we want to add a new graph...
--> Graph Management
---> Add
----> Select Graph Template - Cisco - CPU Usage
----> Host - ip_address
----> Create
now after this the Supplemental Graph Template Data containing "CPU Usage Data Source" doesn't show the data_sources being plotted for ip_address (host).
any debugging tips to follow?
many thanks in advance!

At the top, when creating a new graph item, select any from the filter box.

Ofcourse, ANY is selected.
Infact all the while it was working well.. but not sure what happened which has caused the "select concat(.... " sql stop working at the point mentioned below...
I was wondering if there is a way to do any debugging? currently i have debug enabled in php.ini, httpd.conf and cacti interface as well... but no luck!! ...
i hunted for "concat" (since i am aware of the sql construct) in cacti directory to find out graphs.php and other scripts but got lost

well, after going through graphs.php a few times... i realize it would be better to seek some help!...
refer to the attached image which corresponds to the following URL... http://cactihost/cacti/graphs.php?actio ... ost_id=129 i am having NONE output in the Data Source [as_online] field...
(unlike the correct output showed in this image)
i believe that if i can figure out the correct SQL select for Data Source [as_online] it might help me to confirm if my mysql data integrity is intact... so now how to find what SQL select "graphs.php?action=graph_edit&id=630&host_id=129" is really excuting? any assistance would be highly appreciated...
thanks in advance & best rgds.

well.. we find out the source of the problem!
/var file system was 117% utilized and thus getting cacti to fail to process create the requested info... (once we have completed housekeeping on /var all is now working perfectly!!)
well... a bit of time consumed but there is always something new to learn!
thanks for all your time!
