URGENT: Host Disk and CPU Issues in 0.8.6g

Post by TheWitness »

A problem has been identified in 0.8.6g. The following 4 files MUST be backed off to 0.8.6f version:

resources\script_server\host_disk.xml
resources\script_server\host_cpu.xml
scripts\ss_host_disk.php
scripts\ss_host_cpu.php

Same here, no more disk problems :D

Many thanks for your support Larry.

Maybe you could re-package Cacti 0.8.6g, some distributions are already using it : http://packages.gentoo.org/search/?sstring=cacti

Do you still need to backup the :

resources\script_server\host_disk.xml
resources\script_server\host_cpu.xml

files with these new .phps ??

Are there any plans on adding these on the official patches page for 0.8.6g too? :)

You need to place the original XML files from the 0.8.6g tar files back.

For those who may have replace their XML files. Here are the correct ones. They go into the <path_cacti>/resource/script_server directory.

Hey,

I have tried applying this patch, and am still getting issues.

At first, before any patching, my system would tell me invalid response from server. Then I applied the .xml and .php patches, and php ./cmd.php produces a hang during an ss_host_disk.php line.

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks!
