Not calculating totals

Hello everybody

I have a strange behaviour with cacti. Most actions like the |sum: just dont work, I attached a graphic, showing this. earlier with the same version of cacti, it worked. We didn't change anything in the installation since then.

OS is SuSE 9.3
cacti is Version 0.8.6f
rrdtool is rrdtool-1.0.49-3

What could cause this?

Can you paste the exact summation variable that you are using? I will cross-reference it with the code to see why it might not be parsing correctly.

COMMENT: Total In: |sum:auto:current:2:auto|
COMMENT: Total Out: |sum:auto:current:2:auto|

Solved the Problem.

Saw the following entries in /var/log/apache2/error_log:

PHP Warning: preg_match_all: internal pcre_fullinfo() error -3 in /srv/www/htdocs/cacti/lib/functions.php on line 1403

After updating to the newest php5 package, the error was gone.
