Good evening All,
I'm having problems with a CDEF expression and I don't know how to fix cause I'm a newbie in RPN or CDEF language. Here is the code:
Code: Select all
cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,ALL_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS,/,100,*
And here is the error related by RRDtool:
Code: Select all
ERROR: Could not parse line 'GPRINT::LAST: Current\:%8.3lf'
Thanks

Typically caused by a RRDtool command sequence not including a DS line, but there are also some other causes. Let me look at it again...

You need to select the correct RRD version under Settings->General.

/usr/local/src/rrdtool-1.2.8/src/rrdtool
/usr/local/rrdtool
/usr/local/rrdtool-1.2.8/bin/rrdtool

Yup, looking good, now you need to view the graph 1 time in DEBUG mode and cut and paste the output from the log file into your next post.

You misunderstood me. When you set logging to DEBUG and then go and view a graph under "Graph Management" an entry is placed in the log that looks something like "CACTI2RRD ...". You need to find that entry and paste it into the forum.

Sorry,
Here is the correct log file:

This log was captured from debug log file using VI. At graph_management nothing was shown except this line:
Code: Select all
RRDTool Says:
ERROR: Could not parse line 'GPRINT::LAST: Current\:%8.3lf'
Thanks
