Dear Rax,
I'm still trying to figure out what is going on with my BIND9/DNS Stats graph.
I'm using a php-cgi script to parse the /etc/bind9/named.stat on my box, and using SNMP to store the out come value. I'm sure that my SNMP Data Source is getting the correct value and the value was logged by rrd.log too, but my graph return me with different or even wrong value.
Graph URL :
http://www.techclan.net/cacti/graph.php ... graphid=64
Currently, the DNS successful query value is appromixly to 1497, as I can see it on here and keep growing :
INTERNAL: [127.0.0.1/public] OID: [.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.50.101.1]
/usr/bin/rrdtool update /var/www/cacti/rra/z_dns_success.rrd --template z_dns_success N:1497
The OID is a extend by me with the following line on /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf :
exec .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.50 bind9_stats /usr/local/bin/php -q /var/www/exp_dnstats.php
This drive me crazy.......
Rgds,
Dino
