Backend Documentation
I'm an avid php scripter and would like to add my own automation on adding hosts/graphs. As you all may know, adding hosts/graphs in cacti is pretty tedious and not many of employees in my company like to do these tedious stuff. If we could have some sort of where everything is without having to reverse engineer the codes ourselves, that would add so much usability to this wonderful program.
One example that I'm kind of frustrated about is finding out how cacti store the rrd information in the database. I know it's in the rra directory, but the filename, I believe, is derived. I went and half reverse engineer the codes but gave up since it went over too many files to find out the final code. I'm trying to use this info to determine which file is no longer used by cacti and delete them.
So, this will be a good thing to add to cacti.net documentation website for us backend scripter.
Mass add to Graph Tree
If the backend documentation is not possible, it would help for us to be able to add multiple hosts to the graph tree at one time, instead of clicking add, select, create, add, select create, add select create...

Graph tree templates?
RE: Mass add to Graph Tree
Perhaps something akin to graph tree templates is in order? I for one would love to see something like this implimented in an upcoming release.

Deleting unwanted files -> compare the table "poller_items" to the contents of the directory, subtract and you have your answer.
