I cannot get graph to be created in 0.6.4 it will collect the data but graphs are just broken images, once i was able to get a graph when I clicked "make graph" on an Upstream and renamed it to just "1" but any onther interface will not graph. and trying to rename a datasource, and checking update rrd does not seem to help at all. 0.6.3 and 0.6.2 work flawlessly, (other that short names) I have tried a few thing but nothing I have tried fixes the problem.

PS. the demo graphs for pinging and such work OK.

yes, I found that is almost exactly what I get, if I add the downstream interface to datasources, I can get a graph, but when I add an upstream, no more graphs. and the naming of the datasource is VERY picky and I'm not sure why some names completely fail but others work.

The issue with the data source names and php's builtin SNMP support are two things I want to focus on for the smaller 0.6.5 release. If you could give some detailed examples of data source names not working (what you did, etc), that would be very helpful.

I already created a small patch that resolves the 'Make Graph' issue with long data source names. I figured that there would also be other similair issues since 0.6.4 introduced new data source naming code. I did this partly to allow cacti to 'keep track' of data sources better.

Woohoo, Graphs do work in 0.6.4 I found the problem I am having, If I use a Capital letter at all in the data source name it will fail to graph at all, as soon as I started creating data sources without any Capital letters ANYWHERE in the name it started working properly. I will just put a lower() function on the datasource submit to fix any accidental caps, it very well may just be my lack of rrdtool knowledge so I don't know if rrdtool allows for caps, but that sure fixed my problem.

all my problems were solved with this simple solution.

Thanks for a great script Rax.
