ucd/net Load Avg. Weekly Graph output problem.
About 2 weeks ago I added the ucd/net Load Average (1-5-15 minute) graphing type for one of my Linux machines. I've noticed that the weekly graph only seems to show data for the last 3 days or so. Is this normal for the first few weeks or did I miss something somewhere?
Thanks for the help.

Oddly enough, this graph along with the ucd/net memory usage graph are the ones that are doing this. I have another Load Avg Graph template that runs using a script and it is fine (attached below also). Also as a note I am using the latest version of Cacti.

Um...
Those settings are not right....
Problem is they are probably affecting any graphs created since they where changed. Did you import any templates about 2 weeks ago or earlier?

After you update the RRA settings, delete the associated rrd file for that graphs datasource and let cacti recreate it.

I share admin duties with another person for cacti. Most of these things have been up and running for at least 2 months if not longer. I just started working with this about 3 weeks ago, and that ucd/net Load Average template was already listed.
The person who setup cacti originally changed the RRA settings because he wanted any samples to be based on 5 minutes, versus the normal 30m, 2h, 1d.
All of our RRA date settings are set as how the weekly is (Steps: 1, Rows: 600)
I did a check on other graphs that I added in the last few weeks and noticed the same pattern of the time period graphs getting cut off. So I guess my question is, how could I make the RRA settings be based off of 5 minutes (for all timeframes), but not screw up the graphing output to cut off as it does?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks I'll read up and hopefully come up with a solution
In the meantime, if I wanted to revert back to the default settings, do these seem correct?
Consolidation Selected: X Factor: Steps: Rows
Daily:
Avg, Max, Last : 0.5: 1 : 600
Weekly:
Avg, Max, Last: 0.5: 6: 700
Monthly:
Avg, Max, Last: 0.5: 24: 775
Yearly:
Avg, Max, Last: 0.5: 288: 797
Also would it be safe to assume that I need to remove all my rra/*.rrd files or just the ones that were added since the RRA was changed (ones that suffer from this cutoff). Also is the old data salvagable or do I need to start fresh?
Sorry if these things are covered in another post, I'm just trying to get things back to normal as fast as possible before I dive into trying to mess with the RRA settings.

You can salvage the data using rrdtool dump and importing it. But again, I say read the rrdtool documentation. I have yet to do this myself.
