Smoke Ping Like - 1.1 - Windows Script

Based on the newly posted Smoke Ping Like 1.1 graph at http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=8503, I have made an update to my graph for the tping script that I wrote yesterday. Here is the Smoke Ping Like 1.1 graph for windows (note that I have removed the deviation fetures).

This should install the data template, data input method, and graph template. The data template and data input method are the same as the one in the post above. So you should be fine if you import this file on top of the old one.

Graph template installs under: Network - Ping - SPL 1.1

Do you understand how big your contributions are? SmokePing only runs on *nix, and Cacti scripts for measuring network latency were only available for *nix too.

When I try to import Templat "cacti_graph_template_network_ping_spl_1_1". I got error message "Error: XML: Generated with....". What's wrong? Thanks

I import template "Templat "cacti_graph_template_network_ping_spl_1_1" in Win2003 failed (0.8.6f). But import into Linux (0.8.6.f) successfully.
Why? What wrong?

Just to advise that I saw this script - downloaded the patch and files, imported and setup a graph - all worked perfectly first time out!

When I try to import this XML template, I get the following error

Code: Select all

Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in C:\cacti\Apache2\htdocs\lib\import.php on line 44

Can anyone help? It's on an XP machine 0.8.6f Thanks
