8.6f install problems [aka noob probs]

Post by dungeon01 »

hi there and thanks by advance for help. I installed latest version of cacti and i contacted http://localhost/cacti/ .
Cacti redirect to /install/index.php but from there nothing happens..

i attach the screenshot ...just to be sure(even if i click next on installation page..nothing happens and no errors..even in logs...)

I have no errors from mysql (that's also correctly running) nor from php..

what i'm missing?

Review your apache log file for errors.

Hmm, I will send to someone more familiar with the changes for comment.

Thanks,

Ok, that is weird, have you tried to reinstall the files from the tar install file? Seems like a corrupted file or something.

Also, are you using non-ascii chars or reserved chars in your mysql username/password?

dungeon,

Send me a copy. I'll take a swat at it. What version of MySQL are you running?
