CACTI on RedHat 8.0 and Apache 2.0x

I installed RedHat 8.0 an cacti-0.6.8a and it has problems with apache
any idea is welcome !!

Running with apache 2.0 and php 4.2 linux 8.0

edit your php.ini file to allow short hand ex <? vs. <?php

edit php.ini change Off to On.

short_open_tag = Off
