The windows box is busy causing graph gaps. Which you would see as true gaps on the 2 days 5 minute average.

This was a bug in Cacti prior to 0.8.6e. Please make sure that your upgrade to 0.8.6e and then make sure that the ditributions versions of ss_host_disk.php and ss_host_cpu.php are installed in your production <cacti>/scripts directory.

You do have to increase the timeout for the Microsoft HostMib stuff though...

I am running version 0.8.6e but I have this problem as well.
The OS I'm running is Debian 2.6.11-1-k7.

Please make sure that you have copied the "New" ss_hostdisk.php and ss_hostcpu.php from the zip/tar files. Then, increase your host timeout to somewhere around 5-8 seconds.

What is the best way to do this upgrade? Will just copying the new ss_host_disk.php and ss_host_cpu.php to the scripts directory work or is there more to it?

Do that and then make sure you copy the zip/tar <cacto>/resource folder structure as well. Then clear your poller cache just to be completely sure.

Well, I never did get this resolved when I originally posted this and I'd like to revisit the problem. Currently running Version 0.8.6g. I have the "Script and Script Server Timeout Value" set to 25. I think that is the host timeout value that was mentioned above but I could be wrong. Any other thoughts?

With 0.8.6h, you should be ok. Remember to keep what was delivered in the 0.8.6h versions of the scripts and resources directories. Do NOT overwrite newer files with older.

For historical data, you may just be SOL.
