How to add a comment or user input field to a graph

Post by hypatia »

I've made a data and graph template for plotting the number of rows in a MySQL database table. The data has a custom data field for the table name. I'd like to have that table name appear in the graph, but don't know how to do that. I'd settle for giving the user an opertunity to add a comment, but I don't know how to eo that either.

And while I've got your attention, can I display the number of rows as an integer (6128) rather than 6.1k?

Go to graph template, click on graph items like (something) Current: and under Gprint type choose exact numbers

Cheburator: Thanks. I didn't see the exact numbers option.

TheWitness: Huh? I haven't the slightest idea what your are trying to tell me.

How can I add a text string to a graph template? One that can be set when a new graph is created?

Thanks.
