User Permission for the creation of devices and new graphs?

Post by Khan »

Here's my situation: I have another system administrator that I want to grant access to be able to add his servers and create their graphs. What I don't want is him to be able to do is mess with any of the other settings. Which option under Realm Permissions do I need to check in order to allow this if it's even possible? Thanks.

Not really... :(

Permissions per hosts only apply to viewing graphs.

I was actually not looking at a per host allow/deny. The idea was to allow the management of any device and create the graphs for those servers. I just added "Update Data sources" and "Update Graphs" to a test user and these settings allowed for some of what I am trying to do. However in doing so, it opened up "Colors", "CDEF Presets" and "Data sources" unders the Management header. While not a BIG, it would nice to not allow for those sections to even display.
