Graphing Errors / Discards

Post by jimmygift »

Hi

I've been unable to graph errors/discards using the provided Cacti template, I know it can be done. Can someone shed some light on this ?

Thanks very much.

My first question and the most important, what device are you trying to graph?

And second, what type of interface is it?

I'm trying this on a Cisco Catalyst 6500, I just did a snmpwalk on the LAN switch and the ifOutDiscards, ifInDiscards, ifInErrors and IfOutErrors counters are there.

Thank you.

It should be working. You do get the graphs generated, but there is nothing on them?

Hi

Finally figured it out. I assigned the right datasources to the corresponding graphs, it works ok.

Thanks a lot. :-)
