cacti / PHP error

Post by SilloSyben »

Hi,
I'm running the latest cacti with Win2k/mySQL. Everything appears to be setup correctly however I'm seeing the following error sting at the bottom of each page.

Cannot find module (IP-MIB): At line 0 in (none) Cannot find module (IF-MIB): At line 0 in (none) Cannot find module (TCP-MIB): At line 0 in (none) Cannot find module (UDP-MIB): At line 0 in (none) Cannot find module (SNMPv2-MIB): At line 0 in (none) Cannot find module (SNMPv2-SMI): At line 0 in (none)

Another thing I'm having trouble with is creating graphs. For example, I create a basic SNMP interface which returns SNMP info on the device. I click "View Gathered Interfaces " followed by "Make Graph" This leads me to another page asking for a "Traffic Analysis for <data_source_name>" for which I replace d_s_n with the IP of the device. I leave the data source name alone in the next field. I click save and ........ nothing happens.... Should I see a graph or am I missing a step?

Your first problem is caused by ucd-snmp unable to find MIB files. Copy MIB files from your ucd-snmp package to folder c:\usr\mibs (if you have PHP installed on D: drive then place MIB files to D: as well).

After pressing "save" graph definitions are being created. Now you need to put newly created graphs to graph hierarchy ("Graph Hierarchy" option). Then you can view your graphs on "graphs" tab.
