How to Graph Remote Unix Machine

Post by R2D2 »

Hi,

I'm new with CACTI, I've successfully done graphing my Win2000 servers using the available Win2k template. Now I would like to graph my UNIX servers but unsuccessfull.

Any step-by-step procedure out there? any thing I would need to successfully graph my UNIX servers.

By the way, Im running the following:

Cacti-0.8.6c
Net-SNMP-5.2.1
PHP 5.0.3
Win2003

Thanks

Install and configure NET-SNMP snmpd on the unix servers. Then you can use the supplied template in Cacti to graph them.
