Broken Preview Image

Post by sivana »

Hello,

I'm using the following software:
- Slackware 10.2
- RRDTool 1.2.3
- Latest Cacti version

My problem is that I'm getting broken preview images. The drill down images are fine.

Any Ideas?

Update to RRDTool 1.2.4 (yes I'm serious) first.

Set logging to DEBUG and then view the broken graph. Then, goto System Utilities->View Cacti Log File and cut the "CACTI2RRD" for the graph. Paste it to a command line and run. See what your error is.

The broken images are only the preview images.

I don't get a new CACTI2RRD entry in the log when I view the graphs. I have the log level set to DEBUG.

When I click on a previous CACTI2RRD command, I get this:

ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1115600401 when last update time is 1115600401 (minimum one second step)

They will only appear in the log after you have viewed graphs. Please check again. Search for the word "graph".

Problem solved with selecting the proper RRDTool version.

Settings->General and look at tool versions section. It was set to RRDTool 1.0.x

It should have been 1.2.x
