Should be easy fix, getting this Fatal Error

I get this Fatal error when trying to browse to the index.php file using Linux RH7.3


Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/html/cacti/include/database.php on line 19

WHat is happening here. Any help would be great!!
