CDEF use

I'm beginning to monitor my network w/ cacti (i.e. all databases are new).
All I need is to check interface speed, but in bits, instead of bytes.

I found there is a CDEF which already converts from bytes to bits.

The question is: how do I use it?

I'm quite new to rrd (although I already managed a network w/ mrtg and rrd databases), and I'd like to understand well how to get cacti to his best.

Hi !

You just have to choose the "Turn Bytes into Bits" CDEF Function in your Graph Item Configuration, while creating/editing your graph items.
