I've been reading through the post and there seem to be plenty of postings about not getting the graphs to display. And just as many answers on what to do to fix it. But, after trying just about all of them I still have the problem.
Here's my details.
W2K server
IIS
MYSQL 4.1.10a
PHP 4.3.10
NET-SNMP 5.2.1
CACTI 0.8.6c
CACTID 0.8.6d
If my poller is set to cmd.php in the Cacti Settings do I need CACTID?
Should my poller be set to CACTID?
But here is my real problem. I can get any graphs to show. I'm sure that I'm getting data because the Data Template Selection is resolving the DNS name to an IP address. So I would think that it's polling the device. And I checked the Data Templates and I only have one input and output traffic (54 & 55).
-Also-
I am getting this error in Graph Management.
Error: opening "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cacti\rra\srv9_traffic_in_13.rrd" No such file or Directory. (I've seen some post about this but everything listed that I tried didn't seem to work. I've also seen some post that says to go down a version of php. Should I)?
The other error message I'm getting out of a debug of the Supplemental Graph Template Data is
Error: Can't Parse '#f5f800: Legend Text'
If some one could assist me in getting over this last bump I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for the help.

Not Geting Graphs
Hi
This seems to have worked for me. Almost exact same problem
"Ok will I found a problem with my config. Instead of having php_win.exe I had php.exe under php Binary path. Seems to be gathering data now. Still working out some issues. Ill be back."

Post the full debug on the graph.
Did the win-php.exe issue fix it?

Not getting any graphs/rrd files not being created
Hi
When I set Cacti up just recently I had similar problems. All looked ok but no graphs. Further investigations revealed poller timout errors and the relevant rrd files not being created.
The problem whas probably a result of the misreading of the following instructions.
"PHP Binary Path:
If using PHP 4, you should change this to:
c:\php\php.exe
If using PHP 5, you should change this to:
c:\php\php-win.exe"
Because if you are using PHP 5 and you use the php.exe then the above symptoms are what you will get.
The setting I am talking about is Console=>Configuration=>Settings=>Paths=>PHP Binary Path:?:\php\php-win.exe
When I used php.exe (at first) my poller log file would look like this
04/04/2005 08:36:57 PM - POLLER: Poller[0] Maximum runtime of 296 seconds exceeded. Exiting
The other factor that probably contributes to this is what you have the scheduled task set to. In my case I had it configured to run php-win but the Cacti PHP Binary path set to php.exe.
When both were set to php-win.exe everything started being happy.
Poller Log File using PHP-WIN.EXE

Thanks for all your input. I've been on other tasks so I haven't been keeping up with the messages.
But here's what I have so-far.
rony and bthomas: I'm running PHP 4.3.10 so I don't have a php-win.exe file. I do have php.exe set in my path statement in Cacti. And the scheduled task is running the same program.
And Rony how do I set the debug for the graph?
Thanks
