Errors when running cmd.php (deals with includes)

Post by khutton »

These are the errors I get when I run cmd.php from the command line.

Warning: Failed opening 'include/config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/cacti/include/rrd_functions.php on line 82

Warning: Failed opening 'include/functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/cacti/include/rrd_functions.php on line 83

Warning: Failed opening 'include/database.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/cacti/include/rrd_functions.php on line 84

Warning: Failed opening 'include/config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/cacti/include/functions.php on line 108

Warning: Failed opening 'include/database.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /www/htdocs/cacti/include/functions.php on line 109

Not really sure what to do. I edited php.ini with

include_path = "/www/htdocs/cacti"

Once I did this the system would just stop when I tried to run cmd.php. I am unsure what to do next. I can get eh website up and running but I cant get any rra files but one and I get all these messages. I get a bunch more than above but they all say something similar. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Running on RedHat 7.3
apache 1.3.26
mysql 3.23.52
rrdtool 1.0.35
php 4.2.2

Ok. I have put a symbolic link in /usr/local/lib/php named include that point to /www/htdocs/cacti/include. Now when I run cmd.php from teh command line the system just sits there like its doing something but noghting ever happens. I have to ^c to get back to a prompt. Not sure what is going on.

Is it possible that the snmp that comes in RedHat is not working properly? When running the install.php I was able to get the system to recognize the snmpget and snmpwalk in /usr/bin. I assume that this means that the system has access to the snmpget and walk. Any ideas.... Anyone?

One more thing. I am getting email from my cron output stating this:

Date: Wed, 28 Aug 2002 12:35:00 -0400
From: Cron Daemon <root@cacti.yeo.org>
To: root@cacti.yeo.org
Subject: Cron <root@cacti> php /www/htdocs/cacti/cmd.php > /dev/null 2>$1

/bin/bash: $1: ambiguous redirect

Maybe this will shed some light?

About your cron error, double check your /etc/crontab file and make sure the last part reads:
/dev/null 2>&1
