VBS Scripts for W2K - Help Needed

Post by pshankland »

Hi,

I have downloaded the Windows 2000/NT Scripts from HERE as I want to monitor my IIS5 server(s). Can anyone direct me on the simple steps needed to get these working?

Thanks.

Pete.

PS - Fresh install of Cacti running on a Windows 2000 Server SP4 box

1) this really belongs in the Win32 forum.

2) You need to create a new Data Input Method for each script.
The input string will be something like: <path_php_binary> -q <path_cacti>/scripts/DiskUtils.php <hostname> <type> <drive>

Take a look at how the MySQL scripts (found in the script forum) are set up. It too uses a php script to query something and should be a good example.
