Please publish a tool to easy import data from perl script or bash. Otherwise can u please post a detailed guide that helps people import data quick and easy from a custom script ?

Simply i've written a lot of scripts that i used in mrtg: A bash script that download from cnn.com the temperatures of a city, parse the file and outputs to two values ( temperature and wind speed ), a perl script that use ther server-status apache page and outputs two values ( current connections and connections per second ), a bash script giving out one value ( logged in users in a unix system ), a bash script that parse spamassin logs and so on ...
