Newbie - Can't get imported templates to work

I don't know if this is the correct way to post my problem. What I thought was an imported template issue is actually a general problem with my Cacti installation. Because of this I'm referencing the link in a post I did a couple days ago in the "Scripts and Other Addons for Cacti" forum. I'm sorry if this is the incorrect to do this. If it is can someone please correct my mistake (like moderator=delete this post) and let me know the correct avenue to get help with my issue on this Message Board.

Anyway, I can't get imported templates to work. They all exhibit the same issue which is described in the link below. The initial install works great with the basic monitoring of disk, cpu, nic traffic etc.
