Cacti graphs on external server

Post by ly3nml »

We are developing a CRM project where it would be useful to see graphs of network devices in a web application. These graphs are generated on the Cacti server, and we would like to get them to the CRM server and see them as a popup window or just in the main window by clicking on a link. In our CRM server the devices have their own IDs which are different from the Cacti ID. For the linkage with Cacti we would probably use "External ID". Could someone point me on the right path on how this could be implemented?

Your requirements aren't completely clear, but I assume you will first need to export the graphs out to the CRM server or elsewhere, so you should probably start with this and see what it gets you and how to work with it.
