threshold interface notified by email
hello, can anyone help me in creating a threshold on one of the interfaces on cacti? Is there a tutorial or step by step from start to finish so that threshold can be notified by email, thank you
Re: threshold interface notified by email
1) install and enable plugin, it is described in README.md
2) configure smtp in Configuration -> settings -> Mail/Reporting/DNS and Alerting/Thold
3) management -> Data sources -> choose your interface (click on template name)
4) set thold type, thresholds, re-alert, ....
done

hello sir, how do I display the last half hour graph on what notification alert threshold?macan wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 1:33 am 1) install and enable plugin, it is described in README.md

I use a command like this,
An alert has been issued that requires your attention. <br><br><strong>Device</strong>: <DESCRIPTION> (<HOSTNAME>)<br><strong>URL</strong>: <URL><br><strong>Message</strong>: <SUBJECT><br><br><GRAPH>
but in this command it displays the last day's graph, can it be changed to show the last half hour graph?
Thank You

I think that it isn't possible in actual thold. Please create issue/feature request here:

hello sir, I'm confused about the traffic flow at threshold settings that don't match the ones in the graph? how to equalize the current value for traffic in or traffic out so that it can be matched with the graph, thank youmacan wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 1:28 am I think that it isn't possible in actual thold.
