Hi, I am using official Debian package of cacti (version 1.2.24).
I have many PHP errors in cacti.log, and I read it is recommended to upgrade to 1.2.27
How would you do this?
Remove Debian package, and then install 1.2.27 through sources (by keeping config.php of course)?
Thank you!

It is recomended to create backup before update. Howto create backup is described here.
http://docs.cacti.net/Upgrading-Cacti.md
After backup install new debian package and go to cacti web, there will be update wizard

Re: How to properly upgrade to latest version of Cacti
Hi Macan,
I am using Debian 12 12 (bookworm), I am already using latest version according to official packages.
I wondering if I could install a newer version by sources, and how.
Thank you!
