HI All,
I am very new to Cacti and due to no internet access for servers would like to configure "Local Page Help Only" for the webUI.
After much searching I have found very little information on how to configure this other than vague direction to download the help doco from github and set the server to "Local Page Help Only".
Making changes to the help.php I have managed to get just un-formatted .pm files to load, but it would be great if the formatting and images could be properly loaded.
Any guidance on how to make "Local Page Help Only" work properly would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Trying to configure "Local Page Help Only" but the webUI just loads the .pm files as plain text

download documentation from https://github.com/Cacti/documentation/
unpack to /path/to/cacti/docs
set permission for webserver user
go to console -> configuration -> settings -> enable "Local Page Help Only"
logout and login again (maybe it isn't necessary)

Thanks for the reply macan,
I am looking at this again after having been busy with other things.
I can confirm
- that I have downloaded the documentation from: https://github.com/Cacti/documentation/
- that I unpacked the documentation to /usr/share/cacti/docs which is the path required RHEL9
- that the permissions are world readable and SELinux is running in permissive mode, so the web server should have no issues with access... even so I changed ownership to apache:apache and this made no difference
- that I went to console -> configuration -> settings -> enable "Local Page Help Only"
The help pages still display in text format only, has anyone actually used "Local Page Help Only" and gotten the pages to format and display correctly?
Thanks
