How to migrate graphics from one computer to another

Post by david454545 »

Hi

I want to know how I can export the copy of the graphs from one computer to another, that is, for example I have a damaged hard drive on a server with cacti installed, how could I previously save the copy of the database and be able export it to another server where I installed cacti again

Please help me with this, if it is possible to export or migrate the cacti graphics from one computer to another with a new installation of cacti

What is the way to do this?

I use cacti in ubuntu

Copy folder cacti to new server
Copy folder rra if it isn't in cacti directory to the same location on new server
You can copy log too if you want
set correct user and file/directory permission
make mysqldump
restore mysqldump on new server
set cron on new server
Let the Cacti grow!
