PHP Parsing Error??? (Invalid OID)

Post by dsamford »

I'm having a huge problem getting Cacti to work properly.
Everytime I try to either add a host or refresh interfaces I get the following error repeatedly.

Warning: Invalid object identifier: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.6.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.1 = 1 in /usr/share/cacti/include/snmp_functions.php on line 35

I'm also receiving this error at the end.
Warning: Cannot add header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/share/cacti/include/snmp_functions.php:35) in /usr/share/cacti/snmp.php on line 72

It seems like PHP is post or prepending to the OID where it doesn't need to. That's just an offhand guess.

I saw a previous post, but I could not find a variable $config["php_snmp_support"] = false;

Adding it did not seem to help the problem.

Thanks,
Derek

Okay...I take that back. I put $config["php_snmp_support"]=false
into config.php (I have a include to /etc/cacti...this is the apt package) and rather than an error, absolutely nothing happens. No network traffic even gets sent to the host. Let me know if you have any ideas.
