Two items, the internal name always seems to get cut off and second I have to manually run the rrdtool create command? otherwise cacti doesnt seem to run it? any ideas on why I am running into these problems?

I think the DS: name is limited to 19 characters, which is why it is getting cut off.

I can't seem to get cacti to create the rrd for me, I have to manually run the rrdtool create command too.

Nothing is logged in cacti/log/rrd.log regarding the Create "event" either (I haven't had a chance to check apache logs yet though, so it could be a permission error)

Datasource permissions

I have changed the permissions without any luck, I am not sure that is the problem.
