Cleaning up unrecognized orphan data sources

Post by sbotnick »

Hello,

I have a handful of orphan data sources that the poller uses and logs errors on because they are invalid. In searching the GUI, I cannot find the DSs, I have the search criteria set to "all" and "orphan" selected and they do not show up. I also deleted and re-created the device and the invisible orphans were not deleted.

Here is a sample of the log entries created:

Code: Select all

2023-08-23 19:18:10 - POLLER: Poller[3] PID[389522] Device[426] DS[2897] TT[0.06] SNMP: v: , dsname: traffic_in, oid: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1, output: U
2023-08-23 19:18:10 - POLLER: Poller[3] PID[389522] Device[426] DS[2897] ERROR: Invalid SNMP Data Source. Please either delete it from the database, or correct it.
Is there a way of cleaning these invisible orphans up? They are creating delays in polling and a lot of log entries for the errors.

In this case, the data source has the ID: 2897, more importantly the device has the ID: 426, looks like it's a Non-SNMP device, yet you've added a bunch of SNMP level graphs. Just delete them.
