Cacti 1.2.24 Issue unable to create Graph

Hello Team,

We upgraded Cacti from 1.2.9 to 1.2.24 but we have an issue when we are creating a new graph, this is the logs from Deveops console.

Do you have any idea to fix this?

What version of PHP? If it's 5.x, upgrade it to 7.x. Upgrading is easy on Linux, just use the REMI repos.

Yes, probably the version of php (5.4) that we have installed on our Centos 7 server has some incompatibility with the latest versions of cacti.
But at the time of updating we had to solve with the following solution

We copy the last version(1.2.9) file graphs_new.php to the production path and that resolve the issue of graphs creation.

After that we identify another error related to place graphs on a trees, so we modify the following

/var/www/html/cacti/lib/funtcions.php

From: $items = unserialize($unstripped, array('allowed_classes' => false));
To: $item = unserialize($unstripped);

I would migrate to the Remi distro's and get yourself upgraded to either PHP 7.4 or 8.2. Cacti 1.2.24+ supports both versions quite well, and they use less memory.
