Uncaught Error: Class 'Symfony\Component\ExpressionLanguage\ExpressionLanguage'

Post by FredZwarts »

I have a problem with a few lists in the Console, e.g., with the list of CDEFs and the list of Data Queries.
When I try to duplicate or remove an item in one of those lists, nothing happens. In the Log the following error is displayed:
06-Feb-2023 12:17:45 - CMDPHP PHP ERROR Backtrace: (CactiShutdownHandler())
06-Feb-2023 12:17:45 - ERROR PHP ERROR: Uncaught Error: Class 'Symfony\Component\ExpressionLanguage\ExpressionLanguage' not found in /usr/share/php/PhpMyAdmin/MoTranslator/Translator.php:316 Stack trace: #0 /usr/share/php/PhpMyAdmin/MoTranslator/Translator.php(353): PhpMyAdmin\MoTranslator\Translator->selectString() #1 /usr/share/cacti/site/include/global_languages.php(418): PhpMyAdmin\MoTranslator\Translator->ngettext() #2 /usr/share/cacti/site/data_input.php(305): __n() #3 /usr/share/cacti/site/data_input.php(45): form_actions() #4 {main} thrown in file: /usr/share/php/PhpMyAdmin/MoTranslator/Translator.php on line: 316
I see things like 'Language' and 'Translator'. Therefore, I suspect that it has to do with the fact that I use Dutch as my language.
There is no problem to create a new item from scratch for such a list. That is a work around, but costs more time and it is a pity that I cannot remove items from my experiments that I no longer need.

Is this a known problem?
Can I fix it by installing extra langage packages? How?

Looks like Ubuntu/Debian right. If so, you should log a bug with Debian.
