Can't sort the the order trees are displayed on the monitor tab

I have created a number of trees and am displaying my devices on the monitor tab based on the trees. However when I re-order the trees in the trees screen the change is not reflected on the monitor tab. it looks like they are displayed in the order I created them and I can't change that. Does anyone know how I may change the display order of the trees ont he monitor tab?
