How to set cacti graph use the system clock

Post by Chaudiya »

Hello All,

Kindly help me how to solve my issue.

On our server we already set the timezone to UTC but when we view the cacti graph using workstation/PC with diffrent timezone the cacti graph uses the timezone of the pc or workstation not the system time on the server

System Time

WHen you viewed PC test 1 with GMT +8 timezone the graph also present the time with gmt +8 as shown below
PC-TEST-1.png

When you viewed PC Test 2, GMT + 00 timezone the graph also present the time with GMT 00 as shown below.

Our goal is that the cacti present the graph with GMT +00 regardless the workstation or PC timezone.

Thanks

There was a commit over the weekend to address this and will be a part of 1.2.23.

We already did upgrade it on version 1.2.23 but still the same issue.

Update to the latest. There was one missed component in lib/functions.php that was updated just last night.

Hello,

We already update and it works, but there is some issue we found out again kindly please see below image,
we found out that 1 day historical graph is okay but when you check the 2 days and so on historical
you can see the extraline which should not be included. Sample are BGC.R28 which it has extra shadow or line or there more graph lines.

Thank you, hoping you can help us on this issue again.

The extra line represents the peak within the time period, the other line represents the average. So, it's working perfectly. Once you learn to read the graphs, you will understand.
