auto discover SNMP OIDs

Post by robertkwild »

hi all,

is there a way to auto discover all the SNMP OID's on all my devices on the network ie

is there a way i can enter in a wildcard ie "1." and it will then run through all the OIDs and add them when/if it detects any after 1.

thanks,
rob

Not on cacti, that will result in thousand of OID, and not all neither usefull, nor in cacti template.

Juste do a CLI snmpwalk on one of your device and you will see.

And even with all OID, if you don't know what it mean it will be useless.
